Depuis 2015, le Secours Rouge International organise une campagne de récolte de fonds pour financer des pansements hémostatiques dit Celox qui sont envoyés au Kurdistan. Cette initiative a permis d’en acheminer plusieurs centaines. Ils ont été distribués à plusieurs composantes du mouvement révolutionnaire au Rojava (Kurdistan syrien) : le mouvement de défense de la jeunesse, le mouvement de défense des femmes, les unités de protection, ainsi qu’à différents groupes internationalistes sur place. Lors des combats contre l’Etat Islamique ces bandages ont été d’une aide précieuse et ont permis de sauver des vies.
Aujourd’hui, l’ennemi n’est plus le même mais les combats continuent. En effet, l’armée turque et ses alliés islamistes ont envahi plusieurs parties du Kurdistan syrien et iraquien. L’objectif du fascisme turc est d’éradiquer le projet révolutionnaire qui grandit proche de ses frontières. Les forces révolutionnaires résistent héroïquement comme nous avons pu le voir lors de la bataille de Serê Kaniyê ou plus récemment dans les montagnes de Garé. L’achat et l’envoi des pansements Celox est l’un des moyens le plus effectifs pour soutenir les combattantes et combattants sur place.
Pour promouvoir la campagne nous avons fait appel à l’artiste genevois Thomas Perrodin, afin qu’il réalise une affiche. Elle représente la solidarité qui s’est construite ,et se construit encore, avec le mouvement révolutionnaire kurde. Son tirage sérigraphié est limité à 100 exemplaires numérotés. Le prix de soutien de 30frs est entièrement utilisé pour l’achat des pansements Celox.

Support poster for the Celox campaign
Since 2015, the International Red Help has organized a fundraising campaign for Celox hemostatic bandages sent to Kurdistan. Hundreds were forwarded thanks to this initiative. They were distributed to composants of the revolutionary movement in Rojava (syrian Kurdistan): the youth defense movement, the women defense movement, the protection unities, and other internationalist groups there. During the battles against the Islamic State these bandages were a great help and saved lives.
Today the enemy is no longer the same but the struggle continues. The turkish army and its islamist allies have invaded parts of the syrian and iraqi Kurdistan. The turkish fascism’s goal is to eradicate the revolutionary project growing at its borders. The revolutionary forces are resisting heroically as they have during the battles in Serekanye or more recently in the mountains of Garé. Buying and sending the Celox bandages is one of the most effective ways to support the fighters in Rojava.
In order to help us promote this campaign, Thomas Perrodin, Geneva based artist, accepted to create this poster. It represents the solidarity that was built and is still being built with the kurdish revolutionary movement. The prints are limited to a 100 numbered copies. They each cost 30 swiss francs and the money collected is entirely destined to buying Celox bandages. Posters will be available at our events, or by contacting us via our social medias or email.
